‘Chez Nous’ is a beautiful, private villa on the island of Nevis in the West Indies. Our villa is in a great location close to the beach and is perfect for families or groups of friends.
Chez Nous is a completely refurbished villa combining antique, old world charm with modern conveniences. Warm, original stone walls and features meld seamlessly with new construction and modern appliances to provide a perfect, comfortable, vacation experience.
The main villa has two large, breezy bedrooms; both with en-suite bathrooms, with the master bathroom boasting a spa tub and a separate, glass enclosed shower. Each of these bedrooms leads onto a fully screened back porch that welcomes the sun’s rays in the morning and provides a cool haven during the afternoons.
The screen is motorized and can be lifted at your pleasure. This back porch allows an un-obstructed view of Nevis Peak, the mountain that Christopher Columbus christened “Nuestra Señora de las Nieves” due to its perpetually cloud covered summit. There are, however, numerous days when the clouds lift and the mountain preens, gloriously unfettered.
The third bedroom is located in a self contained, attached apartment. This can be accessed from the main house or via its own entrance. Because it can be closed off from the rest of the house, it’s perfect for that family member who wants a little bit of privacy.
The apartment consists of two floors, with a large bedroom downstairs and a kitchenette, sitting room and bathroom upstairs. There is even a pocket balcony. A colourful, winding spiral staircase connects the two floors. All three bedrooms are air conditioned.

The sprawling great room leads directly into the kitchen, making the most of the open plan design that allows the tropical breezes to flow unimpeded throughout the villa. The spacious kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and utensils that lend themselves to the creation of gorgeous meals. There is also a spacious laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer.
The large verandah sprawls unimpeded along the outside of the villa and can be completely screened off with motorized screens while huge French doors open directly onto the verandah from the great room. The pool is accessed directly from the verandah and offers a sunny spot to monkey watch.
Chez Nous is set in spacious grounds (with an outdoor barbeque area!) and is a three minute walk from the beach. The villa is located in a private enclave of very few houses and it is also very close to a number of varied beachfront restaurants and activities. Charlestown, the island’s capital, is a ten minute drive away.
Nevis, once known as the Queen of the Caribbean due to the high quality of its sugar has a rich tradition of rum. Rum, that fantastic spirit with its varied flavours and profiles has been enjoying a resurgence as more and more people are drawn to its complexities and mysteries. A visit to Chez Nous can include a private rum tasting tailored just for you.
